The frackers were our great friends

\nthey were going to orchestrate

\nthe comedy was clear

\nthey stole, so much water
\nthere was no control
\narsenic, barium, glycol
\nmanganese, phenol
\nsodium was present too
\nonce this place had soul<\/p>\n
but now we look around here
\nthe trees were once so green
\nthe fields were once so yellow
\nand the sky had really been
\nthe palest of the blues but we
\nnow look around and see
\nwe’re frackingly well fracked
\nand this is the end of me<\/p>\n
I tried to tell them many times
\nI spoke, I wrote, I cried
\nnobody was listening
\nto what came out from inside
\nnobody believed me
\nthe politicians, they
\nwere getting and were giving
