The hog roast
\nis a sick event
\nthreaded on a spike
\nand laid across the
\nhot white coals
\nhead still on
\nwhat are they like?
\nextreme heat
\nrising upwards
\nbubbling the skin
\nsizzling and drizzling
\nthe oil and it does spin<\/p>\n
the smell of a charred body
\nsoaking up the air
\ngetting up the nostrils
\nso many unaware
\nof all that death and sadness
\ndespite the head on show
\nthe children look on avidly
\nand the parents just dont’ know<\/p>\n
this piece of crisped up body
\nyesterday was out
\nwandering in the farmyard
\nand looking all about
\ngrubbing up the thistles
\nans inquisitively eyeing
\nthe sunlight on the sty gate
\nand now its death defying<\/p>\n
to see her burning body
\nto smell her innards she
\nwill soon just a mass of bones
\nfor all the world to see
\nher soul has flown to summerland
\nhopefully where she
\nwill graze in verdant pasture
