To break a cows tail
\njust imagine that pain
\nthose nerve endings shooting
\nright up to one’s brain
\nand its done by some raw head
\nwith much less of a clue
\nas to why he is doing
\nwhat he’s been asked to do
\nit is devilishly painful
\nand cows get it done
\nno painkillers they have to
\nstand there they run
\ninside themselves trying
\nto just get away
\nfrom the pain that is rising
\nin them anyway
\nwith this subjugation they
\nhope to subdue
\nits a yoke of affliction
\nand controlling too
\nanother great basic
\nis chilli in the eyes
\nimagine that burning
\na churning demise
\nrestraining and paining
\nthe tearful surprise
\neach of us knows
\nwhen we forgot
\nand we came into contact
\nwith chilli that we ‘d used a lot
\nin our eyes
\nwere were blinded the pain was intense
\nwe went into panic mode
