\nI suppose you’d expect the best teachers
\nand also a syllabus where
\nit would hold you in good stead whatever you did
\nand spearhead your leadership flair
\nso to hear of a Hare hunting training day
\nit kind of took me by surprise
\nhunting for hare has been banned long ago
\nit finally met its demise
\nin 2005 in the United Kingdom
\nthough it still does go on elsewhere they
\nbelieve its a sport of sorts but here it is banned
\nand as such why we teach it today
\nto me its irrelevant nonsense
\nits a cruel hearted nasty affair
\nand as such with the fees being paid every term
\nto spend one whole day I despair
\nfor me it is cruel its a bloodsport
\nits illegal here so what’s the point
\nit happens in Ireland its happens in Spain
\nbut in England this does disappoint
\nthere really cannot be a reason
\nunless they know something that we
\ndo not know they may repeal the act
\nthen of course I suppose the toffs
\nwill want to be
\npart of the hunting fraternity
\npart of the gentry lets say
\nbut as things stand now
\nits illegal
\nand so Eton really should pay
\nmore attention to this and be wary
\nof what it includes and for why
\nto me it is not high class thinking
\nto chase a soul until it does die<\/p>\n
animals do have a place here
\nthey were created
\nby the same higher force
\nwhat gives us the right
\nto hunt and to kill them
\nit doesn’t make sense
\nand of course
\nEton should realise some
\nof its students will not be forthcoming
\nfor they
\nwill not want to hunt down and kill
\nevery animal
\nthat might just get into their way<\/p>\n
but it sends out some rather strange messages
\nhere
\nIf a parent I would want to know
\nwhy they are doing this
\nwhat is the reason
\nits not that Hare number do grow
\nNature knows best of their movements
\ncreation is balanced and true
\nits really not for us to meddle
\nthough meddle of course we do do<\/p>\n
I think Eton should now be wary
\nhare coursing or whatever its called
\nis not what I’d consider to be in the syllabus
\nand someone should best now be hauled
\nover the coals for this day at the hunt
\nthat is probably covering more
\nof more relevant studies to do with one’s buddies
