\nA cats party festival where?
\nof course in Peru and well what they do
\nis take cats to the point of despair
\nits said to be a ceremonial thing
\nfor religious leaders to do
\nthey drown all the cats in big buckets of water
\nand they are then cooked
\nits the view<\/p>\n
its a terribly heinous conclusion
\nfor cats to be drowned as they are
\nthe pain its just too much to contemplate here
\nreligion to me it does scar
\nso many lives its
\nlost and wayward
\nand this sacrifice is too much
\nI cannot abide
\nthis terrible side
\nof people so far out of touch<\/p>\n
Peru it is wrong still to do this
\nand for that matter to eat them too
\ncats after all are carnivores
\neating them isn’t a view
\nthat most would subscribe to
\nand also many are pets as we know
\nso to drown them and eat them
\nand call that religion
\nits evil as well as its low<\/p>\n
you are now in the 21st Century
\nnot in the dark ages no more
\nyou should have evolved
\nto a much high standing
\nbut listening I am not sure
\nsinking down into the abyss it may
\nbe what you are doing
\nwho now can say
\nbut better it is to rise
\nwith the sun
\nthan fall into the swamp
