A ferret is an animal with feeling
\nkick it and it yells just like we do
\nstroke it and it seems as if it likes it
\nso why the hell do we hurt it that’s a view
\nmany just don’t think about
\nthey prefer to walk away
\nthey are just not interested
\nand they just don’t care to say
\nbut they being bred in places
\nand sold to laboratories
\nthey are being bred in places
\nand in pet shops you can see
\nthey are really suffering
\nbut they have a place on earth
\nthe great creator made them
\nso they really do have worth
\nso why is it that we ignore them
\nshut our ears to their pain
\nwhy do Government bodies
\ntheir life’s blood they drain
\nused for testing vaccines
\ntortured every day
\nsurgical procedures
\nand no pain killers a way
\nthat really is so inhumane
\nthey are feeling thinking souls
\nand need a bit of true respect
\nfor they have love and goals
\nthey care for their families
\nthey have children too
\nthey can love their offspring
\nwhich is more than some of us do
\nso treat them love them care for them
\nspeak up for them
\nand stop this meanness now
\nI don’t care who is doing it
