{"id":11482,"date":"2013-09-30T12:31:52","date_gmt":"2013-09-30T12:31:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cooksdelight.co.uk\/blog\/?p=11482"},"modified":"2013-09-30T12:51:11","modified_gmt":"2013-09-30T12:51:11","slug":"gelatine-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cooksdelight.co.uk\/blog\/2013\/09\/gelatine-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Gelatine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Its pretty sick that humans<br \/>\nhave decided we should eat<br \/>\nthe skin of cows and pigs<br \/>\nboiled down and rendered<br \/>\nas complete<br \/>\npeptides and proteins making up<br \/>\na jelly or a gel<br \/>\nas kids we loved those jellies<br \/>\nthough they had a funny smell<br \/>\nof course it was dead body<br \/>\nand so they flavoured it<br \/>\ncoloured it with azo dyes<br \/>\npetroleum did fit<br \/>\nin a kid&#8217;s portfolio<br \/>\nno wonder I did spit<br \/>\nout a lot of jelly<br \/>\nand that got on dad&#8217;s nerves<br \/>\nI remember he gave me a few whacks<br \/>\non my lower curves<\/p>\n<p>but now I am a man I can<br \/>\ndecide what I can eat<br \/>\nand cow skin and pigs skin<br \/>\nand cow bones, does unseat<br \/>\nevery bit of emotion in me<br \/>\nI just have to say<br \/>\nthe adults who think their<br \/>\nchildren should put this stuff away<br \/>\nare ignorant or just don&#8217;t care<br \/>\nits sad whatever for they<br \/>\nare palming off on children<br \/>\nmore crap every day<\/p>\n<p>its a cheap and nasty by product<br \/>\nhigh profit through and through<br \/>\nderived from animal collagen<br \/>\nand most don&#8217;t have a clue<br \/>\nwhat they give their children<br \/>\nthey really do not care<br \/>\nas long its on the supermarket shelves<br \/>\nthen fair and square<br \/>\nit must be what the doctor ordered<br \/>\njust the stuff to scoff<br \/>\nit would keep you chipper<br \/>\nand never make you cough<\/p>\n<p>this is total ignorance<br \/>\nthat some parents display<br \/>\nand with this kind of ignorance<br \/>\nof course they are blown away<br \/>\nby really rotten processors<br \/>\nwho keep the public dumb<br \/>\nand fill their food with utter crap<br \/>\nand boy do they get some<\/p>\n<p>now there is a process for saving<br \/>\nmoney here and there and here and everywhere<br \/>\nand gelatine is going spare<br \/>\nin fact they put it everywhere<br \/>\nhigh fructose corn and refined salt<br \/>\nthe mums are being stung<br \/>\nnot by wasps or bees no no<br \/>\nby the foodies who have rung<br \/>\nevery last drop out of,mums and dads<br \/>\nnow and they<br \/>\nare looking for new fangled ideas<br \/>\nto make their margins pay<br \/>\nthe piper and who ever ambled<br \/>\ninto buy<br \/>\ngelatine old bones and gristle<br \/>\ndon&#8217;t come and us me why<br \/>\nnow you know the reason its cheap<br \/>\nand makes me dough<br \/>\nits a by product from the slaughterhouse<br \/>\nwhich is coloured as you know<br \/>\nits a by product of petroleum<br \/>\nand makes me lots of dough<br \/>\nand its sweetened with white sugar<br \/>\nits a by product you know!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Its pretty sick that humans have decided we should eat the skin of cows and pigs boiled down and rendered as complete peptides and proteins making up a jelly or a gel as kids we loved those jellies though they &hellip;
