\nThe shale cracks yes en masse
\nAnd back up comes the energy

\nBut now its contaminated and then can get into
\nIt can spray over everything
\nor creep out of the ground
\nOr leak into the water table,
\nthat too has been found
\nBergton is a charming
\nlittle place in the foothills where
\nNatural beauty
\na cute exhuberance
\njust fills the air
\nAnd here the hydraulic fracturing
\nwill risk contamination
\nTo me its only corporate players
\noffering salvation
\nEarthquakes often happen,
\nThats the reward you get
\nFrom Environment degradation
\nin fact a lifetimes debt
\nAnd all this contamination
\nwill be stored in open pits
\nTo be trucked away on
\nMetal Dinosaurs
\nRoad surface splits
\nMay happen, not the kind of
\nTransport seen on minor roads
\n18 wheelers rich exhausts
\nAnd very heavy loads<\/p>\n
theres little one can ever say
\nThats positive about
\nthis dirty filthy business
\nThat seemingly does flout
\nThe laws about clean water

\nThe Shenandoah River may not escape
\nsomething to beware
