On 23\/9 they dumped me here
\nnot a word not a pat
\nreally it was clear
\nnow where I was at
\nin some shelter somewhere
\nYea I smelled that rat<\/p>\n
its a county shelter
\nsomewhere
\nI’d hoped I’d never be
\nits funny when you live
\nwith humans you think
\nthat you can see<\/p>\n
how they love you
\nbut here again I was wrong
\nfor I
\nam 3 years old
\nI am neutered
\nand if nobody comes by<\/p>\n
Ill be for the chop of course
\nthis is going to be
\na few long days of sweat I think
\nits possible that I am going to die
\nI hear this shelter has a kill rate
\nthat really is sky high<\/p>\n
so there you go
\nthis looks like curtains
\nI’ll end up below
\nI hope somebody sees this
\nand wants a faithful friend
\nbut I have stop now because I’m crying
