\none journey too far
\nfor a mother and her babies
\nand of course well now they are
\nin a bigger area from that
\npoky little place
\nwhere they had been so confined
\nwhich was truly a disgrace<\/p>\n
The authorities could see it
\nand the veterinarians could too
\nand on much closer inspections
\nknew what they had to do
\nthey are now in some 3 million gallons
\nwhich sounds a lot perhaps
\nbut the ocean is the only place
\nthese tanks are just vile traps
\nprison cells for mammals
\nwho lives we fill with stress
\nso realise the enormity
\nthey are still under duress<\/p>\n
In Rimini or Genoa
\nor America or Japan
\nDolphins should all be released
\nand not controlled by man
\nits a waste of their resources
\ntheir ability to be
\nthemselves they are intelligent
\nand react with constancy
\ntheir emotions become shot away
\na psychosis creates more
\ncomplications for them
\nas inside themselves they store<\/p>\n
the rigidity of humaneness
\nits an evil we don’t see
\nfor we only care about ourselves
\nand the creatures of the sea
\nwe imprison them in boredom
\nwe create for them a place
\nwhich is tiny by comparison
\nand is just a vile disgrace
\nwe are selfish we are ignorant
\nuncaring in what we do
\nthe mammals entertain us
\nbut they suffer all life through<\/p>\n
and the move is seen as good
\nin honesty these dolphinariums
\nreally now they should
\nbe closed down they are cruel
\nand are imprisoning wild souls
\nand this is not the way to go
\nwe should not impose our roles
\non other wondrous creatures
\nwho live out in the sea
\nthey are wild and travel miles and miles
