The tragedy here is that pigs
\nhave a heart
\npigs are so sensitive right
\nfrom the start
\ntheir teeth were chipped off
\ntheir tail torn of too
\nand their testicles pulled
\nwith pliers it is true
\nimagine those 3 operations and all
\nwithout anaesthetic it would have a call
\non whether a baby could cope
\nwith the shock
\njust on its own the tail when they dock
\nthe pain is extreme
\nand its done without care
\nits no wonder that piglets
\ndie with despair<\/p>\n

take one little runt
\nwhose had all that done
\nand is now left behind
\non a wooden run
\nits clear he’s no food
\nand no water at all
\nand they hope that he
\nsnuffs
\nand that as a rule<\/p>\n

is what farm yard
\ncompassion and care is about
\nits a hopeless scenario
\nits just a rout
\nirremediable outcomes
\nthat is the sin
\nand he tries and he tries
\nand he tries and he tries
\nfalls over gets up
\nlook into his eyes<\/p>\n

he’s is just a baby
\nbut his eyes have seen hell
\nand seeing and being
\nwell he knows well
\nhow bad this existence
\nis even right now
\nas he stumbled and bumbles
\none watching says wow!
\nhe has fighting spirit
\nbut little besides
\nhis muscles are flabby
\nhis tentative strides
\nare weak, this boys sick
\nhe tumbles and falls, gets up
\nand tumbles these are the rules
\nhe goes by
\nand that’s all he has in the world
\nhe slipped out of his mother
\nwhere he had been curled
\nand now he was hungry and thirsty
\nbut they weren’t coming back for him
