The two extremes were clearly
\nso in evidence today
\nwhen looking at sweet Cara
\nwe realised the way
\nher courage had materialized
\nand rose to the extreme
\nand the bastard who had hurt her
\nwas craven hearted and obscene
\nher injuries were terrible
\nshe had a broken jaw
\nshe had been shot at close range
\nand stabbed, her tongue no more
\ninfection now was rampant
\nher agony severe
\nshe was half the weight she should
\nhave been
\nher sunken eyes were near
\nclosing, but she wagged her tail
\nwhich was a hopeful sign
\nthat we would now be good to her
\nshe really was divine
\nthat trust inside her gravely injured body
\nwas a million times more advanced
\nthan the cruel shit
\nit made us cry
\nto realise
\nthat though this angel had to die
\nshe still had kept her sanity
\nwhich lit
\na light in all of what was understanding
\nfor to purgatory clearly she had been
\nbut still was able to respond to a little
