I was born
\nabout 2 hours ago
\nI just slipped out
\nof mama
\nfell out heavily on the floor
\nlife for me a star
\nshining in the heaven’s
\nI breathed and tasted air
\nI heard my mother grunting
\nI was so aware<\/p>\n
The farmer he was very gruff
\na cap slung sideways on his head
\nhe picked me up and threw me
\nthen I did see red
\nI had just come into this world
\nand this place seemed hell for me
\nalready I was bleeding
\nand my mama could see<\/p>\n
she was lowing like a fog horn
\nbut she got a pitch fork straight
\ninto her back passage
\nshe didn’t have to wait
\nhis dreadfulness was shocking
\nif this was Planet Earth
\nthat I had been told to come to
\nit really had no worth<\/p>\n
then all of a sudden
\nhe just grabbed hold of me
\nhis fingers squeezed my body
\nI mean he shouldn’t be
\ntreating us like this at all
\nthen he stuck one in my eye
\nit hurt so much I couldnt bear it
\nand I began to cry
\nso he chucked my in a dustbin
\n“that’s what becomes of you”
\nlay there
\ndie
\nand suffocate
\nyou are useless too
\nyou are nothing but a bloated worm
\nyour life is over and
\ndie you bloody insult
\njust try and understand
\nthe supermarkets will not pay
\na proper price and so
\nmale calves have to perish
\nand that is where you go
\nyour mother will be joining you
\nnext month you can bet
\nand that’s because I’m overdrawn
\nand now so much in debt
\ndon’t think of me as awful
\nthe system is all wrong
\nthe supermarkets are too big
\nand I just don’t belong
\nin farming any longer
\nand that’s because of you
\nyou cows get on my bloody nerves
