Desolation
\noutweighs any sympathy
\nout there in the wild west
\nthere is no symmetry
\na wolf has just been
\nthrust upon a post
\nand left to die
\na sacrificial statement
\nan apocalyptic cry
\nthat echoes through the heavens
\nfor in this what we see
\nis a hatred pure and simple
\nthat really shouldn’t be
\nit doesn’t ask us questions
\nand there are no answers there
\nits purely and simply hatred
\nand leads only to despair<\/p>\n
Ignorance
\nits rife, and savages the breast
\nwithin the heart is beating
\nwith nothing to invest
\nexcept the cruellest savagery
\nthat has no place to be
\nanywhere around the wolves
\nwhose freedom we should see<\/p>\n
impaling one into a post
\nand then running away
\nis tantamount to cowardly
\nmaking a poor soul pay
\nfor what you believe is happening
\nthat’s not happening at all
\nyou are so far down the wrong road
\nyou can’t hear us when we call<\/p>\n
repressed and far too angry
\nfor your own good let me say
\nyou abrogate all common sense
\nand try to make them pay
\nwhere is your morality
\nwhy do you let them steal
\nyour good sense away from you
\nbecause that now is real<\/p>\n
you killed that young predator
\nnot the corporate goon
\nyou have done their dirty work
\nwaved the sad balloon
\nand half the world has seen it
