His owner was a shepherd
\nnow arn’t they supposed to be
\nloving to the animals
\nto the sheep who wander free
\nbut this poor hound was hounded
\nby a nasty bit of work
\nand in his head the demons
\nclearly they did lurk
\nfor what this man decided
\nhe was going to do
\nwas cut his own dogs ears off
\nwith scissors and did cut through
\nthe tissue with out flinching
\nthe pain was so intense
\nthe dog cried day and night for days
\nno one could make any sense
\nof how and why his owner
\nshould do such a dastardly thing
\njust thinking about that agony
\nit does sort of bring
\nevery bit of anger out of me
\nto want to say
\nif I ever caught him
\nI’d make the blighter pay
\nhis rescuer an angel
\nhis keeping him we hear
\nand he is going to sue this freak
\nof nature which is clear
\nsomeone has to find him
\nsomewhere he must be
\nwhat is wrong inside his head
