In India cows are thought of as holy
\nnobody dares touch them
\nmaybe their lowly
\nbut still fairly free to
\nwander around
\ncars will pull up for them
\nthat’s what I’ve found<\/p>\n
but there are some men
\nwho will break any laws
\nthey will load them on trucks
\nand that is because
\nthey can get a good price
\nfor them leather and meat
\nbut they have to march them
\nfar away from the street<\/p>\n
up into the hills
\nand really quite high
\nwhere the great snowy summits
\ncaress the dark sky
\nthey do not give them water
\nand many will die
\nit is very terrible torture<\/p>\n

\nto the killing yard
\nwhere their killed very slowly
\nit just seems so hard
\nfor these poor sad \u00a0cows
\nwho have gone through a lot
\nand are now to be killed
\nright here on the spot<\/p>\n
\nthat acts more like a saw
\nthey hack away briskly
\nand try to ignore
\nthe pangs and the pain
\nthat the cow clearly feels
\nthere is nothing at all
\nnothing conceals<\/p>\n
\nas the cows head is almost sawn
\noff
\nfor that’s what they do
\na fountain of gore and blood
\nshoots in the air
\nwhich anyone witnessing this
\ncannot bear<\/p>\n
\nthose gently sweets souls
\nmurdered like this
\nwithin their distinct roles
\ncows are so gentle
\ncows are so kind
\nthese men if you can call them that
\nreally are blind<\/p>\n
\nto the evil that’s here
\nfor leather those cheap leather
\ngoods that appear
\nin markets now everywhere
\nblood stained infact
\nbut nobody sees it
