I can’t help thinking
\nnanny states are taking health
\ntoo far
\nUnless its for Big Pharma
\nmore than those who star
\nin this epic narrative
\nof fluoride and our teeth
\nwith drama overflowing
\nbut what really lies beneath
\nit all is it our caries
\ndoes that warrant this
\ngovernment intervention
\nand BIG Pharma bliss
\nits like being kissed
\nby a Komodo dragon
\nits saliva will
\nlikely reaching our blood
\none second later
\nit will kill
\nthe nefarious nature
\nof this so called treatment
\ncould now be
\ndown the road a long way off
\nsomething unlikely
\nwhat is it they are giving us
\nto sort out the decay
\nfluoride, but that’s toxic
\nwhite teeth all the way
\nto really losing all our teeth
\nand probably our good health too
\nbecause this awful substance
\nis not very good in you
\nits in so much of the toothpaste
\nand I am pretty sure
\nthat drinking fluoridated water
\nis not good any more
\nit never was good actually
\nbut the corporates pushed it through
\nthey stand to make a packet
\nso that is what they do
\ncorporate control in place
\nit becomes a commodity
\ntraded on the stock exchange
\nwith the probability
\nof making some quick money
\nthat’s what its all about
\nand big energy is after it
\nand that’s without a doubt
\nMarcellus shale that special stuff
\nthat sits a mile or two
\nbeneath the earth or so they say
\nwith natural gas drawn through
\nwater a key element
\nto slosh around the drill
\nup to 5 million gallons
\nI know that’s if you are still
\nawake after such data
\nflooding into you much of it
\nfrom reservoirs meant for me and you
\nbut ending up in corporate sites
\ndown one or two mile holes
\ninfected with vile chemicals
\nthey are toxic ass holes
\nto do this to our water as potable
\nas can be
\nmean’t to be drunk by us all
\nnot flushed into the sea
\nor down some flipping swamp hole
\nnever to be used
\nto drink or water food plants
\nwe are being abused
\nthe planet is now reeling
\nfrom the corporate cruelty
\npurported to be useful
\nbut clearly we can see
\njust what they are doing
\ntheir energy is there’s
\nits profit they are hoping for
\nand energy sapping wars
\nwater is a commodity
\neverybody needs
\nevery single animals
\nand plants on it feeds
\nand so to waste a real resource
\nas corporate frackers do
\nis a crime against humanity
