Stray dogs are for the chop
\nand that is literally
\npeople take it in their own hands
\nto
\ntake an axe and try to chop their heads
\noff
\nhow men in the street
\ncould ever do
\nsuch a crime to any living creature
\nand what makes people act in such a way
\nare they really suffering
\nmental torture
\nand do these dogs affect them
\nanyway
\nare they fouling streets or busting fences
\ndo they make a noise or bite
\nso why
\nwould people get it in their heads
\nto take an axe and look for them
\nbut that appears the case
\nand some now die
\nin Greece we know its happening
\nin eastern Europe too
\nthe strays are getting chopped up fast
\nso someone wants to do
\nthe dirty on them that’s for sure
\nand the authorities don’t care
\nthe animal earthlings
\nare now getting ill treated everywhere
\nthere are a few small agencies
\nand street angels that care
\nthat work to help the orphanages
\nnow bursting with despair
\nbut clearly in society
\nstray dogs are being lost
\nand because money is tight
\nno one can stand the cost
\nand so we get these killers really
\nroaming here and there
\nready to knock their blocks off
