\nwhat some are denying
\nthe circus is no place
\nfor your children, they
\nwould be far better off
\nin the countryside

\nout of the reach
\nof the mentality
\nof the sick and the cruel
\nit is no fallacy
\nthere in the midst
\nthe animal cages
\nwild ones are in them
\nreally for ages
\nand sadly are trained
\nto do tricks for you all
\nwhere torture is rife
\nand only a fool
\nmight not realise
\nelephants, tigers and Lions
\nare ready to entertain
\ncan’t see the signs
\nof cruelty,clearly
\nthat most understand
\nthat is happening really

they are beaten and sworn at
\nand cut down to size
\nstarved they go bonkers
\ncant you realise
\nwild souls who wander
\nthe plains far away
\ncan’t be locked inside cages

but they are don’t you see it

\nit is all wrong
\nthe tortuous way that
\nthe animals live

support to these places
\nboycott them, for they
\nare not helping animals

\nof extending such cruelty
