Imagine the frustration
\nand the difficulty Lions find
\nonce kings of the jungle
\nbut now out of their mind
\ngame reduced to almost nothing
\nand with hunters on the prowl
\ntrappers really everywhere
\nand very little fowl
\nthe indigenous have their animals
\ntethered in fenced space
\nits getting hard to make a buck
\nthere for god and grace
\ngo many a wild soul foraging
\nhopeful of a meal
\nbut genuinely worried
\nand truthfully its real
\nhard out there a goat might be an option
\nbut then they
\nthe indigenous my come after you
\nand with weight of numbers pay
\nspears hurt then the ears are torn
\nand the skin is pulled away
\nthe jaw dismantled leaving
\nthe true victim to pay<\/p>\n
a lion lays bleeding slaughtered
\nshe had no place to roam
\nhumans have stolen her habitat
\nthe bush where she did comb
\nearlier days for something
\nbut those places are all but gone
\nand now its getting brutal out there
\nfor when natives come upon
\na solitary Lioness there is not much she can do
\nbut stand her ground and hope
\nthat they will just let her pass through<\/p>\n
here’s one who took that gamble
\nand felt the wrath of man
\nthey left her in a sorry state
\nprobably that their plan
\nbut another Lion down sadly
\nanother lost for sure
\nWild Africa is bleeding
\nwhich so many still ignore<\/p>\n
the trophy boys have sold their farms
\nand a making their cool dough
\nselling off the hunting rights
\nso lucrative you know
\npeople have few scruples
\nthe money is the thing
\nand trophy lions will feel the pinch
\nthe end of the earthling<\/p>\n
the wild souls cannot hack it
\nup against the man
\neither spears
\nor rifles
\neither way a plan
\nis clearly in the offing
\nfor wild one’s to be killed
\neach has a bounty on their heads
