In what is lovely countryside
\nIn Haddenham in Bucks
\nThe Tiddywinkles Wildlife
\nHospital Trust
\nit kind of tucks
\nitself just to the right
\nof Aston Road
\nso picturesqe
\nits aura you can feel its worth
\nfor there behind the desk
\nthe receptionist is lovely
\ncalm and quietly, she
\nlifts my little rescue box
\nand calls for a soul to see
\nand inside there’s a robin
\na yearling we can say
\na lovely soft red breast
\nbut injured tragically today
\nbut this bold soul descended
\nfrom a nest perhaps to be
\nat the home of Claudia
\nmy lovely friend and we
\nshe looked after for the first part
\nloving him comforting so
\nand I took him to hospital
\nall the way did go
\nits funny it lies off a peaceful
\nroad and one just knows
\nthat once the Robin got there
\nsomehow well its just flows
\nthe energy it was saving
\nit kind of perked up and
\nflapped its wings
\nlike proud earthlings do
\nand it just shows
\nme that vital spirit
\nthat wild souls have and hold
\nthey rest and breathe
\nand realise somehow they seem sold
\nand they are clearly evident
\nfor Tiggywinkles I
\nfelt its caring vista
\nwhich I am sure is why
\nits been there all these many years
\nand flourishes abroad
\nthis tiny Robin was obviously loved
\nand treated with accord
\nhow fortunate the robin
\nknew and came to No 2
\nand Claudia found it shivering
\nand knew just what to do
\npack it in my ambulance
\nand send him on his way
\nto Aston Road in Haddenham
