\nzoo’s are bloody prisons
\nthey seem to think most
\nhighly of themselves
\nadvertise their worth
\nwhen the in mates have a dearth
\nof freedom and fresh living
\nno one delves
\ninto the in’s and out’s
\nof all that bluster
\nthe boredom and the
\nloneliness they feel
\ndepression and neglect
\nno wild foods to inspect
\nno excercise to speak of
\nnothing to appeal
\nand then the worst
\nno privacy
\nkeepers coming in
\nand public too
\neveryday its people
\nand all gawping at you
\nits enough to drive you crazy
