Salburun or “Hunters Zest”
\nwhen hunters come and are seen to test
\ntheir ancestral skills
\nwhere tradition thrives
\nwhere ancestral spirit still survives
\nI understand such festivals
\nbut when the cruelty overflows
\nwhen a wolf is tied to a pole
\nits mouth tied shut
\nand then this soul
\nis attacked with by a Golden Eagle
\nand a Hunting Dog
\nthis is not culture
\nno one dare flog <\/p>\n
such heinous principles to me
\nthis is bloody infamy
\nthis is baseness
\nthere’s no skill
\nreally unless ones heartless
\nthrill!
\nthere’s no thrill in cruelty
\nfor its own sake
\nits purgatory<\/p>\n
Excuses there are no excuses
\nbar for rather sordid juices
\nreally of a sexual nature
\nthat appears to me
\nto be the only outcome really
\ntorture and so very nearly
\ndrawing into evil thoughts
\nnothing else in fact purports<\/p>\n
other than a demented view
\nit isn’t natural to try and screw
\na Wolf with and Eagle and a Hound
\nand leave it ravaged on the ground
\nit is not skillful
\nit is wilful
\nand we
\nlook upon you so badly<\/p>\n
to make a Dog and an Eagle
\nmaim
\na wild Wolf in
\nsome sick vile game
\nno chance the Wolf
\nno chance at all
\nits just murder
\nand it does appal<\/p>\n
as for your ancestors
\nI would say
\nthey too would be sick
\nin their guts to pay
\nany respects to what you do
\nin their name
\npoor judgement just comes through<\/p>\n
so end this squalor
\ngive them peace
\nand give the earthlings
