Since the story broke I’ve kind of thought about it all
\nMoney, is money really the root and will some
\nthen crawl
\nOut of some hole somewhere, and consider
\nwhat to do
\nWith implants to restructure women breasts
\nmake them like new
\nBut instead of using medical quality materials
\ngo for industrial quality and be done
\nKnowing that there are possibly some problems
\nbut thinking even so a story spun
\nInto the greatest narrative helping women
\naround the world
\nWith implants as competitive as any seen before
\nOut into the universe was hurled
\nThese Prothesis when fitted they would
\nchange a womens look
\nBring back all the confidcence she thought she’d lost
\nThat many in reality mistook
\nAnd so began so many operations
\nPlastic surgeons fitted these new breasts
\nIndustrial grade silicon gel imagining they
\nwere medical grade
\nand only recently have we heard tell
\nThat in fact they were not medical grade
\nthe surgeons were misled
\nThe patients had been hoodwinked
\nThe media saw red
\nGovernments around the world
\nwhen hearing what had occurred
\nAgreed to replace those implants
\nSuggesting they referred
\nThe proceedures to the clinics
\nThat had carried out the work
\nUnsure now of the negatives
\nthat may within them lurk
\nTo me a simple poet who listened
\nquietly to
\nThe rantings of the players
\nin this melodrama who
\nHave sufferred, how they’ve sufferred
\nemotionally, such strain
\nAnd now they must go through it all
\nthe heartbreak and the pain
\nCaused by a lack of judgement
\nAnd clearly poor control
\nMy heart goes out to all of you
\nWho now face this rigmarole
\nI don’t know how it was possible
\nTo me it feels so sad
\nWith all these medical people
\nThat so many had been had<\/p>\n
