To kill a wild soul
\na soul in control
\nof his place and in fact
\nhis own life
\nis an ignorant thing
\nand will only bring
\nimbalance and physical strife<\/p>\n
Hunters are men
\nwho are not what they seem
\nfrustrated
\ndistasteful
\nthey cannot redeem
\nthemselves they are lost
\nin their own sea of grief
\nlabouring sadly
\nwithout a belief<\/p>\n
from their semi detached
\nin their vile little job
\nin their grey pin tripe suit
\nthey feel like some slob
\nat weekends they are let out
\nto go to the hills
\nor the forest just little boys
\nhaving their thrills<\/p>\n
at the expense of the wild souls
\nwho are
\nbalanced and happy
\nand living so far
\naway from the slob men
\nbut now 4×4’s
\nand the paraphernalia
\nthat’s when he scores<\/p>\n
a chum at his side
\nand rifle in tow
\nand the wolves in the forest
\nall of us know
\na risk everything is at risk
\ntelling me
\nwhen the hunter stands up
\nwe all can see<\/p>\n
the rifle, but nothing behind it
\na slob
\nwith the smallest of heart
