An anathema, a corrupt practice
\nsomething though that still goes on
\noften called by other names
\nbut what is surely a big con
\nand gets caught in a great big web
\nof con in conservation
\nbut impressions sometimes throw us all
\nand for them its no salvation<\/p>\n
the lions are petted day and night
\nthey get use to human kind
\npeople from around the world
\nbecome mummies, they are blind
\nto really what is going on
\nand they pay a lot to be
\nunpaid servants supporting canned hunting
\nactually<\/p>\n
and as the lions grow bigger and stronger
\nby the day
\nthey are groomed just to be victims
\nand with their sweet lives pay
\nrun into enclosures and then the guarantee
\nof a big kill for the hunters
\nwho pay their enormous fee<\/p>\n
canned hunting is illegal
\nbut it goes on anyway
\nand makes a lot on money
\nfor those companies who pay
\nthe piper and the others
\nto set the programme fast
\nand its lucrative for the rich will pay
\nand just enjoy the blast<\/p>\n
what we have to try and find out
\nis what makes hunters hunt
\nwhat makes the rich exploiters
\nexploited its no stunt
\nthey are getting ripped off
\nand lions are getting killed
\nand people are being hoodwinked
\nand a lot of blood is spilled<\/p>\n
and people are making money
\nand their future probably
\nis on the cards so to rock the boat
\nthey do not want to see
\nbut in South Africa
\nactually most hunts
\nare canned it seems
\nso there has to be a shake up
\nand some rather broken dreams<\/p>\n

\nsupposedly the Kings
\nthe carnivores apparent
\nto the heart it brings
\nflutters that these marvellous beasts
\nare manipulated by
\na bunch of people ready
