If we really are the voiceless
\nhow come twitter does exist?
\nwhen you send your message
\nour tweet you do enlist
\nthe sounds of tiny birds in fact
\na dichotomy of sort
\nfor the billions of us slaughtered
\nbut missing from your thought<\/p>\n
we are the male chicks
\nborn into the egg laying farms
\nwe’re very quickly sorted
\nthey don’t have any qualms
\nabout the way they treat us
\nits money all the way
\nits profit and its margin
\nand that is what they say<\/p>\n
male chicks cannot lay eggs
\nand so that means that we
\nare forced to ride the conveyor belt
\nof death immediately
\nwe are full of the joy of life
\nchirping all the way
\ninto the great mincer
\nmillions every day
\njust churned into a golden soup
\neach little soul, defies
\nhumanity and all of life
\nand comes as a surprise<\/p>\n
to each of us who rides
\nthat great conveyor belt and see
\nfor one split nano second
\nthe giant teeth
\nthat frees every sinew rapidly
\nwe have little time to cry
\nwe were born we saw the wondrous light
\nand then were forced to die<\/p>\n
in fact they were the lucky one’s
\nsome were thrown into
\na plastic bag inside a bin
\non top of each other to view
\nthe great outside whilst being squashed
\nby more and more and more
\njoyful tweeting chickety chicks
\nthat most of you adore<\/p>\n
at Easter we come out from all your
\nEaster eggs we cheep
\nand all your children gather around
\nbut then of course we reap
\nthe fortune of that moment
\nfor our fluffy little souls
\nare thrown into the gas box
\nso as to reach new goals<\/p>\n
some of us can take at least a whole
\nlong day to die
\nwe look up at the bright blue sky
\nand wish that we could fly
\nbut more and more sad birds
\nare thrown on top of us and we know
\nthat life on earth was very short
\nfor we were born to go<\/p>\n
not to heaven we don’t want to be
\nwhere you lot are
\nyou think only of money
\ncompassion doesn’t star
\nin your world you are really cruel
\nand we are babies still
\nin your world its commercial
\nand billions of us you kill<\/p>\n
you talk of Hell in some far off place
\nwhere the evil minded go
\nevery egg farm in your world
\nthey must bloody know
\nthey will head the list
\nfor sure
\nfor what they do to us
\nhow do you live with such a thought
\nand never discuss<\/p>\n
this with your loved one’s ever
\nand employees come and are paid
\nthese are not the bosses
\nthese are people in the trade
\nand they willingly do what they are told
\nthey murder us and smile
\nits just a job they are doing
\nand they do it for a while
\nare we female are we male
\nit determines whether we
\nlive to lay or lay forever
\nand if we’re male we see
\nvery little for very soon
\nwe are only mush exterminated
