As we stop, and contemplate
\nmore than our navels
\nwe realise that other creatures, who
\nfrequent this planet
\nreally who share its
\ntrue attributes
\nalso have the where for all to do
\ngreat things
\nit is not just human beings
\nthough walking upright
\ntragically some be
\ncrawling into dark holes
\nuncompromising evil
\nand baring teeth
\nwith the utmost cruelty<\/p>\n
the dolphin comes into
\na new perception
\na caring playful soul
\nsomething we’ve heard
\nwith intelligence
\nbeyond man’s own
\nwe’re hearing
\na social structure too
\neach has its role
\nto play
\nand can remember
\nfriends and relatives
\neven if unseen
\nfor many years
\nthey call each other names
\nand we know that they
\nplay games
\neach species has its gifts
\nand they have been<\/p>\n
developing in silence
\nfar beyond us
\nthey have an innate mindset
\nand can be
\namazing in their individual
\nprowess
\nand what is truly
