To have had an unspoilt view of the horizon
\nthe waves, the sky, the moon, the sun, the space
\nTo then be faced with 30 or so wind turbines
\nrevolving in the sky and in your face
\nThe sensuous sight for access to the ultimate
\nThat dreamworld that exists for eyes to see
\nThe emotion carries thoughts beyond the actual
\nInto what is, your own imagery.
\nAnd now the great wings flutter to a symphony
\nOf wind and waves. and clouds before your eyes
\nYou cannot see the colours of the horizon
\nAnd the picturesque arrangements in the skies
\nThis frightens you in many way, normality
\nWhat you so expected you would see
\nIs threatened and replaced by all that beauty
\nthe turbines rising gently from the sea
\nTheir great arms lifting clasping wind in heapfalls
\nAnd generating energy Today
\nThis to be a brand new understanding
\nthe wing like structures passing time away
\nChange, whether for good or bad is not liked
\nAnd what is deemed to be a change of view
\nIs dwelled on in the negative but there are many positives
\nSafe energy the best of all, my view<\/p>\n
Our eyes must grow to love the wondrous turbines Wind farms of the off shore variety are efficient, and the poeple who object due to their aesthetic nature
\nTheir swishing capture of the wind that blows
\npositively wonderful technology
\nA journey through the kaleidscope that grows
\nTo add to what was out there in the distance
\nCreating a great movement and a force
\nAnd accumulating energy in quantitites so vast
\nThat it was always hard to understand the source.
