The waste of life
\nis vile and quite unfathomable
\nbut it’s happening
\ncanned hunts they do inflame
\nrich people using other people’s money
\nare buying into murdering big game
\nits no game for the lions
\nthat I can tell you
\nits real hard to live out there as we do
\nwith having to dodge bullets
\nand arrows and the bolts
\nin areas that all of us
\nhave witnessed bad results
\nand its stressful and its really out of order
\nfor man unkind to carry on like this
\nwhy not take our photographs
\nthat’s a great idea
\nkilling us is not exactly bliss
\nwe would rather
\nlive in peace if you just let us be
\nthe pride can be struck cold
\nyou know
\nto lose a member, we
\nget gunned down and really does
\nupset the apple cart
\nno matter whether young or old
\nits strikes right to the heart.<\/p>\n
Trophy hunts are murder
\nwe know it, it is so
\ncanned hunts now are everywhere
\neverywhere we go
\nand then the bloody Chinese
\nup to their old tricks
\nafter our bones and whiskers
\nthats another fix
\nwe now need protection
\nto be on an endangered list
\nso anybody killing us
\nfeels a bloody fist
\ncome down on them like crazy
\nand if they are thrown in jail
\nperhaps the trophy hunting creeps
