How arrogant man has become
\nhe tells us as if he knows
\nthat animals are like children
\nin that case, they should pose
\na significantly more serious problem
\nfor our slaughterhouses, who
\ntorment and torture every hour of every day
\na view
\nthat most just do not contemplate
\na baby does feel pain
\nits very very sensitive
\nso the animals clearly gain
\na great deal from the experience
\nof the torment and torture, we
\ndole out to them accepting their feelings
\nnaturally
\nso to my mind its more horrendous
\nthe way they are treated, we
\nnow witness dreadful suffering
\nfor our milk and meat for tea
\nfor the veal and eggs
\nfor the chicken korma
\nanimals do cry
\ntheir heads off in such agony
\nas more of us now die
\nof cancers it is rife today
\nauto immune disease, too
\nwhat we allow along the way
\nfor the animals my view
\nis karma repays those of us
\nwho allowed this coup d’etat
\nto happen really in our name
\nso this is where we are
\nwe must stop, all this torture
\nwe must stop, all this pain
\nthe farm animals are being
\nmurdered time and time again
\nthey are also being tortured
\nalmost everywhere
\nand it seems to be the given thing
\na life of pure despair
\nso we need to take an interest
\nwe need to please ensure
\nthat we as consumers of them
\nmust give them something more
\nwe must fight for them
\nand see that they
\nare treated with more care
\nand this will go some way
