Cuadrilla want drilling in Balcombe to start
\nthey fracking well don’t care a thing
\nthe great public police corporation
\nare there now in force just to bring
\nthe public to heel to arrest them
\nto intimidate them and to try
\nand give open house to the Cuadrilla mob
\nwho will clear off when Balcome does die<\/p>\n
and die it will,just torn to pieces
\nby the great metal dinosaurs they
\nwill come in and tear up and drill down
\nand draw up the gas and be on their way
\nthe environment yes it will suffer
\nthe fracking liquid it will be
\npoisoning rivers maybe even aquifers
\nthat’s what the police fail to see<\/p>\n
But if they are local they’ll see it
\nwhen their waters poisoned they’ll see
\nwhen their families suffering then they might think
\nif the overtime payments will be
\nenough to buy, the bottled water
\nwill safeguard their house prices that
\nhave fallen since Cuadrilla came into town
\nand basically skimmed off the fat<\/p>\n
Balcombe is one of the many
\nplaces that drillers will need
\nto come to and really destroy it
\nthese sweet country havens will bleed
\nthe people some of them will feel it
\na truncheon will hit them for sure
\nthe world is a monster the vile corporations
\nhave now taken over the law<\/p>\n
and its coming down hard on the people
\nthe rate paying tax paying crowd
\npeople like Cuadrilla and their richer backers
\nare hiding in some now vast cloud
\nbut shale gas is terribly destructive
\ngetting it out you will see
\nthe people and the countryside suffering
\nand in Britain this shouldn’t now be<\/p>\n
The yanks are now fucking the environment up
\nwater supplies at a low
\ndumping their poisons just anywhere
\nanywhere that it can go
\nthere’s no insurance to speak of
\nthey’ve stitched us up and we are lost
