We have a created a milk machine
\ntaken a perfect soul
\nwho had been feeding its offspring
\nfor the cow it was a stroll
\nthe instincts of a mother
\nuntil we came along
\nand realised our impact
\nand where we did belong
\nthe cow produced
\nsome 7000 pounds of milk per year
\nto feed its children adequately
\nof that we all are clear
\nas the cow began the journey
\nit became a human tool
\na milk source for the dairies
\nwho could make who could justify their all
\nmake believe that we were also
\nthe cows babies too
\nand now with all our doctoring
\nproduction became true
\n18000 pounds per year
\nthe milk machine won’t last
\nthey’ve built in
\ndeterioration
\n4 or 5 years
\nthat fast
\ndown from about 20
\nand that has raised the fears
\nand at centre page for the milk machine
\nthe once sweet docile soul
\nwhose calves are being murdered
\nwhilst all its milk
\nthey dole
\nout to all and sundry
\nto drink and to create
\nas many dairy products
\nfor the milk maid at the gate<\/p>\n
the milk moustache was common
\nthe allergies were rife
\nour breathing became difficult
\nthe skin rash and more strife
\ninfections they were rampant
\nthe antibiotics failed
\neverything about your illness
\nkind of got derailed<\/p>\n
lactose was the culprit
\nbut your humans mothers milk
\nhad far more lactose in it
\nand products of that ilk
\nbovine growth factor
\npresent
\nto tantalise you so
\nobesity now on demand
\nits just came with the flow<\/p>\n
lactose took a back seat
\nsucrose, came to the fore
\naspartame also evident
\nthe sweetener reached our core
\nit weakened and it shattered
\nour immunity did fall
\nwe had produced a monster
\nwho wasn’t there at all<\/p>\n
the calf consigned to no where
\ndeath its only place
\nthe human child so many
\nthose of the human race
\ndenied the milk of their mother
\nand instead given the cows
\nmilk mean’t for her offspring
\nalong with all its powers<\/p>\n
of growth and true nutrition
\ndoctored by us again
\nevery thing would suffer
\na great deal of extra pain
\nthe dairy though would earn a crust
\nthe dairy farmer too
\nand the supermarkets they would grow
\nand balloon is what they do<\/p>\n
now they are vast great empires
\ncommanding massive space
\nwith aisles and aisles of packaging
\nall over the place
\nthe dairy counter has exploded
\nevery which way we
\nsee products from the milk machine
\nnot one not two not three<\/p>\n
it has become a huge market
\nthe cow though is no more
\nof course she’s now producing
\nlike she never did before
\nshe’s nothing more than a slave girl<\/p>\n
she’s forced into childhood every year
\nbut the child is stolen from her
\nand instead she knows the fear
\nproduction has gone haywire
\nshe’s literally milked to death
\neverything about her real existence
\nand each breath
\nis laboured and is futile
\nfor it slowly drains away
\nwith emotion and devotion
\nstill the order of the day <\/p>\n
her heart is quickly broken
\nher mind sent on its way
\nher body breaks down rapidly
\nher legs can’t find a way
\nto hold herself now upright
\na cull or downer she
\nbecomes the farmers nightmare
\nand the slaughterhouses see<\/p>\n
her struggle it is witnessed
\nher agony and woe
\nthe pain it takes just to raise herself
\nand how udders they did grow
\nsores and hair became a focus
\nand alas TB
\nand Mastitis and so many other problems
\ncame to be<\/p>\n
Imagine for a moment
\nthe plight of the poor cow
\nthey had made her more machine like
\nshe wasn’t aware how
\nshe still breathed and she still thought
\nbut her body had given out
\nshe was part machine and part obscene
\nand was filled now up with doubt<\/p>\n
her 4 successive babies
\nhad been slaughtered, every one
\nher 4 successive pregnancies
\nhad been rapes
\nshe’d not felt the sun
\nnor tasted the fresh green grass
\nit was all soya that was dry
\nand she had to swallow tablets
\nand powders and rely<\/p>\n
on the pharmaceutical empire
\nthat tortured her inside
\nher teeth were vile and broken
\nwild plants had been denied
\ninstinct was very laboured
\nit was the new ordeal
