Peterborough

At last the so called councils
Up and down the land
Are coming around
And making a really thoughtful
Stand
Ethical determination
Of the Hunting Law
And Peterborough took the challenge
And showed the hunt what for

All forms of hunting wildlife
With hounds on trails or not
Is banned on Council land at least
And that really is a lot
Their heartlessness apparent
These Hunts believe that they
Are above the Law and they go about
Doing things their way

2 fingers to the people
2 fingers to us all
They are the toffs
Our leadership
They are on the ball
When they see the red brush
And hear the cries of pain
Chasing over field or copse
Doing it again

Its their right
We have no rights
Fat arsed toffs and gals
Schooners full of Fino
They are with their pals
A fox or two
Bloodied snouts
2 fingers to us, they
Need to show their cowardliness
For thats the Hunters way.

And now they know the consequences
Of their ugly ways
Everyone is watching
And their bovver boys
A phase
Is really some enlightenment
Showing them all that we
The people want this hunting stopped
And the wildlife living free
