Fishing aggregate devices or FADS

“Siso” was a Sperm Whale
Who died a while ago
trappe inside a Spadera
A swordfish net we know
Being worked illicitly
Taking out the will
Of artisanal fishing
As so many fish they kill

Its very rough and ready
Pure criminality
The ugliest of contraption
To throw into the sea
Construction by presumption
From base improbity
And a principle of evil
That must not be seen to be

Ungodly amorality
Complete degeneraCy
A lack of understanding
On biodiversity
A dreadfully pollutive means
That sinfully acquires
Fish now by transgression
Miles and miles of wires
Of propylene Thats weighted down
FADS it is now called
Cans and plastic bottles
Containing toxics they
Fishing aggregate devices
When seen create dismay

It is an abomination
Where ignorance combines
With arrogance and evil
All these threaded lines
Miscreants so vicious
Good for nothing they
Drop these Terror trappings
And then they sail away

Nefarious and flagrant
The lowest of the low
Greed and criminality
Drives them as we know
The will stop at nothing
To abuse their right of way
By taking on a paradise
And destroying it today

Sea Shepherds glorious volunteers
Are surely on the case
Working with the authorities
Establishing a place
Finding FADS and hauling in
The ugliness they leave
Paragons of virtue
Against the evil creed
The undesirable wretches
That must never succeed

The passion and the honesty
The courage exhibited here
Taking death threats by the hour
And their boat rammed
Spreading fear
In the jaws of death
The bloody threats are high
Such exposure and such menace
dangerous situations fly

Hauling out these cursed lines
So thwart with toxicity
In the Tyrrenian paradise
Where we surely be
Up against the hazardous swords of Damocles
Undone
An affliction thats positioned
Underneath the sun.

Thank you to all the crew of the mv Conrad
And the angels in The crew
