Humanities screwed

Humanites screwed so tightly these days
Some humans are profitting from the malaise
With disasters and all sorts of alarms going on
We see and we know that it us a big con
In the world of the animals
The rights and the rest
Executives paying themselves
I detest
The mutual indifferece
The vulgarity
The suffering out there
And impassivity

Are they unconscious
The loathsomeness here
it is intolerable
what I now hear
The animals suffering
So much abuse
Harshness and roughness
Its extreme and its loose
Millions being raised
To help with relief
To alleviate suffering
Solace and grief
But what we are seeing
Is highly paid staff
Helping themselves
And having a laugh

And the animals suffering
Tragically they
Being shipped from vile mills
Consigned so they say
To rich destinations
As rescue dogs when
They are being imported
By the evilest men

And women alas flown in
We see
Hundreds and hundreds of shipments
That be
alleged to be rescue
When actually they
Are coming from hell holes
And far far away
Infected animals
Paperwork signed
Off by the criminals
The shipments maligned
Valued at nothing
So skipping the fees
Evading the entry
And costs if you please

Put up for adoption
By the angels so called
But far from being angels
Shipments have stalled
Purposefully packaged
So badly they
All arrived dead or dying
They say
There are so called animal rights
People who
Are paying themselves heaps of dough
But they do
Make the dogs suffer
Its a trade off in grief
The animals suffering
And the belief
Where are their scruples
Where is their care
Purporting to love
whilst providing despair
Paying themselves in riches galore
Despite the real animal rights
Who are poor

warriors out there doing their thing
Collecting the pennies trying to bring
Comfort to real rescue animals who
Were picked off the street
Their teardrops were true
And what we are experiencing
Plane loads of souls
Raised in some Mexican Puppy Mill
Holes
in the paper work
Crooks everywhere
Many dogs malnourished
And The money goes where

To Executives pay
And off shore accounts
The ugliness rampant
All part of the bounce
Backwards and forwards
The unseemly, the marred
Whist the animals suffer
Some arriving scarred

The vetting of these staff
Apparently poor
The management at it
Its an internal war
Of attrition apparently
And fraudulently
They blot out the good
With their depravity
And animals dying
Put to the test
So much desperation
We hope for the best
When we donate our money
Sign petitions and try
To expect that the animals
Then can reply

On some real life affection
Not mistrust and lies
Intimidation thats about the size
The ill-considered the uncircumspect
And the consequences when anythings checked
Then the indiscretion and audacity
Becomes somewhat criminal it feels to me

Those caught Unwilling to do what they say
It really disgusts me So let them pay
They need closing down and the money accrued
Taken away and their lifestyle pursued
If brimming with countenance they have to be
Divested and soon for their temerity
Eastern Europe and China and Mexico seem
With no federal oversight To share the cream
The Black Market breeders seemingly they
Sign off the paperwork every day

HSUS a hundred million they raise
But its their executives
Getting the praise
All sorts of scams
All sorts of pain
But little appetite
And much disdain
Threats every which way
Arrestable guilt
Some of them making it
Up to the hilt

Its a humbling resumee
I have to feel
Its inappropriate
Rotten and wrong
it is discriminatory
They do not belong
Its opportunism
And crookedness too
Just infidelty
Now showing through
