Some of us

A wicked respect
for the largest land animals
That’s what they want
more than anything else
Hunters are morally weak
And resentful
Know nothing of challenges
wildness can bring
Socially active familial focus
They have no involvement
and really nothing

Respect is lacking
always attacking
Lying in ambush
holding a gun
Never a camera their cowardice obvious
Self-love and self-praise
Just ego centric
A moral turpitude
Thinking crime pays

Sharing a space
and respecting the image
The largest land animal
Matriarch fronts
A thunderous gait
and a rumbling belly
A marvellous attire
full dust clouds and shunts
Hunters and trappers
yes I accuse thee
You yield to temptation
To torture and maim
Where is your pity
perhaps a short ditty
And Free up their places
for we All are the same
