Mugwort

Mugwort, Artemis vulgaris
Ruled by Planet VENUS
and element Earth
Deities Artemis and Diana
Greek and Roman goddesses
both virgin
Huntresses sacred at birth

To females
stregheria and Wicca
A portal opener where
Astral Projection and prophetic dreams
And protection
Both seemingly share

Qualities And strength
And it does work today
It is something many ought know
Really significant
It is and for sure
helps a lot
Where it does grow

On wasteland, and on embankments
Amongst stony rubble yes and
Often on the banks of streams
Please understand
nitrogenous and uncultivated
History it was all planned

It’s tall and has ruddy brown stalks
A sprig if its placed in a shoe
or a boot
Will strengthen the gait of who walks
Both goddesses of the wild hunt, the wilderness
And Wild animals too

Chastity,protectors of young girls
And believers believe it to be
Bringing disease to The women
With abilities Also to free
goddesses of childbirth And midwifery
Huntresses unwedded zeal
Root rhizome fragments
Fibres that flow
Blooming in July
It really is so

all Parts were used
Having virtue
By witches their philtres
And spells coming true
It overcomes weariness
Something you must do
If you are planning a hike
Put mugwort in each shoe
Do this before sunrise
And you will see
How amazing it feels
So much more energy

It tastes very bitter
But smoking it will
Be like Marijuana
It gives you that thrill
Releasing our untamed selves
Visions and all
And it is very common
And of course will enthral

Burn as an incense to clear rooms
And protect
Against evil spirits
They will be checked
Out In the garden
it attracts the FAE
The mother of magickal herbs
I can say

For women’s maladies
it is the thing
The menstrual cycle
It is like a spring
It regulates
And sets in balance a tune
It being in parallel
yes with the moon

An exhaustion talisman
To have around
It’s good to aid memory
Any old ground
Opening chambers
to ancestral thought
The herb of Samhain
for then it’s best sought

A stirrer of visions
and it opens the portals
It is very powerful
and so good to know
When travelling carry it
It wards off dangers
It builds on our confidence
So our power can grow

No fear of evil
of water or fire
Corvid and viruses
however dire
In the house lightening
will nEver strike
That’s for sure
It has power
Hang some inside your door

Dancing around a midsummer fire
Wear it in garlands
And afterwards throw
Them into the fire
For sickness won’t be
Worrying the wearer
Significantly

A year without sickness
That’s a guarantee
Do it each year
and it’s bound to free
You up to work harder
And whatever you do
Know that Mugwort’s magick
Is protecting you
