BUA NOI

In 1987 She came from Africa
The papers they said Guinea
But we think
She actually came from the
Congo or from the Cameroon
False papers under CITES
Made the link

A female
in a concrete cell
For 33years, she
Not a blade of grass to touch
Nor a single tree

Just plain concrete everywhere
On the seventh floor
Of a shopping mall
At PATA ZOO
Lonely and what is more

Owned by one old gentleman
Chanat Kahanyu
Who needs to let her go back home
But he is clueless to

Realise her scenario
Is in Artificial light
Gasped at by the shoppers
How can that be right

Stolen from her family
All those years ago
Her thoughts must have been many
She is the only one you know

In Thailand and really
The need is now that she
Goes back to Africa to die
For where she is can’t be

Right for her or for Thailand
She need to get deliverance
Let wildness be her friend
Sitting in a concrete cage
Until she meets her end

Is no life for a silver back
She needs the grassy slopes
She needs a gorilla family
She still clings to her hopes

And it’s now up to Thailand
To pay for her to go
Back home to the Congo
Her last few years you know

Where she originally came from
I am sure it means a lot
Human beings are so unfair
And so arrogant and are not

Helping her not one little bit
She does need to return
36818 people have signed
And Have shown concern

Let’s hope she gets to go home soon
