The bull was bleeding
From one of its back legs
Pretty bad
A deep wound opened up a vein
Which really was quite sad
They are heavy animals
And walking in the street
All that dust and all those flies
And of course the heat

“Burly “ was a big boy
We loaded him in our truck
Got him back and examined him
Cleaned off all the muck
Replaced with a tight dressing
And in three weeks it had healed
all our ladies in their sari’s
Clearly they revealed
A gentle streak in this our Bull
Who Loved his throat caressed
A giant very friendly soul
Who clearly had been blessed
With an edifying countenance
And a really lovely way
The softest giant ever
We met we have to say

These beautiful animal Very often
End up as leather or beef curry

end up as leather
