Our wild birds

Lamentation ululation
Weeping wailing we
The wilder birds of England
Decimated be
NAtural bloody England
A bunch of tossers they
Decided we were obsolete
And should be done away

With so They issued general licenses
That some of us must go
Find our nests
Destroy our eggs
When we were in the flow
War it seems announced
And quietly we must be
Annihilated tragically
In what ever place we be

The people some were feeding us
Buying packs of seed
Others dumb and daft as well
Even if we bleed
They do not even
Think about us
Not now anyway
And so we’re being slaughtered
Really made to pay

Farmers are abusing us
Using chemical sprays
Its not just bees that are dying
We are going through a phase
Of madness from the government
Wild life cannot be
Allowed to roam to tweet
To comb the countryside
And Be free

Shooters they are at it too
Decimating souls
Hares and foxes badgers
Deers we all have roles
We all add to the countryside
And being shot away
Hunted stunted blunted
Afronted so to say

Whimpering and blubbering
The common dirge we hear
In the woods in the forests
Everyone in tear
Sorrow hangs around a lot
We now elegize
As robins and lapwings and starlings
Yes all our favourite guys

Are lost infact are dying
The moans and groans and howls
The whine the winging mewls and whimpers
Deep down in our bowels
So called Natural England has taken life away
Has issued general licenses
And made the wild life pay
