JAn Vlonk’s special OAK

Endurance and steadfastness
Comes with this tree
An oak whose deep roots
Bring it longevity
It Is hungry for light
And for wind pollination
The oak milk cap fungi
Provides some salvation
Nitrogen and phosphorous
Clearly on tap
And heavy metals
Which they may trap
So a friend in the ground
Where Dryads delight
And Druids believe
That its prime At its height
It does achieve
Much in the way
Of the gods
Drawing the thunder and lightening
Rods
From the 19th of June
Through to 7 of July
A door to the underworld
Where in doth lie
With its great fissured trunk
And its leafy display
A place for ritual
And where mistletoe may
Be there for the taking
With a sickle of gold
Where a vixen may hide
From the blood sports of old
If she wipes her sore paws
On an oak tree rain pool
Her pads they will heal
And her torn fur may cool
A tree of life
A aura of healing
Just walking around it
You get a good feeling
This tree is Jan Vlonk’s tree
Which he does adore
And of all of the gods
It was special to THOR.

A tree inspired by a request from my friend in Holland
