Murdering camels just like that

There are packs of wild camels
Roaming around
Sustaining themselves
So many have found
Creation for them
Is something indeed
They appear indestructible
Which is indeed

Why hunters
Will shoot at the lead camel who
May run around in circles
Some of them do
The others act lost
They all mill around
If baits have been laid
Then camels are found

To go out and murder them
Is really vile
You have to be heartless
For you wont reconcile
The madness you feel
As they perish out there
If you have any feelings
You are quickly aware

They are afterall out in the bush
They dont see
Much more than themselves
They are as wild as can be
To get someone stalking them
And shooting them they
See their integrity
Stolen away

As for these so called hunters
Most of them they
Wouldnt know what I speak of
For them its a day
Of murdering camels
Giving them hell
Something these bastards
Know how to do well

To get there they had to
Prepare for the trip
An off road vehicle
Which they let rip
Water and fuel and a lot more as well
Some help from a rancher
Whose under their spell

The camels have order
Thats how they survive
When they are shot
They may leap or kick out
They are not typical victims
They may walk away
Then lay down and die
Mind you Ive heard say

These shooters are hopeless
They are a poor aim
So the camel may suffer
Its not a fair game
Wildness the outback
The distances they
Cover together
Just in a day

Hunters they call themselves
Bloodied and sick
Lacking intelligence
Many are thick
Obtuse their idiocy
Some allege
Out in the outback
Might give them an edge

All I can hope is they
Run out of supplies
Or get bogged down in sand
And then realise
What a foolhardy trip
Its has, all become
And thats when they see
Really how dumb

They are to go shooting
Wild
camels in OZ
Because its unwise
And, just because
The terrain is extensive
And the heat violent so
Stalking the camels
Something they dont know
Its so unforgiving
Disrespecting the land
Though bleached bones and
Crosses could help them understand
