BROOME 2

The suffering and the longing
The anguish that we feel
What now is damnation
And unpleasantness is real
The constancy of murder
Of the wretchedness we see
The uneasiness of conflict
From the drives now in Taiji

Sacrificing Dolphins
Creates so much dismay
Martyring the victims
On live streams every day
Wounded heavy laden
Heart broken torn inside
Broome is giving them support
Which Taiji has relied
On it for many murders
Carried out down By the sea
Pithing them and enslaving them
So infuriatingly
It has to be embarrassing
And irksome to those who
Live in Broome and support
The disgusting and offensive
Work they do

And to do this without soul searching
Without apology
And never conscience stricken
Just so remorselessly
Creating an unsightliness
Such sqalor everywhere
It is an obscenity
A boorishness both share

A loss of face for the Japanese
Whose clearly corrupt way
Of dealing with cetaceans
More loutish each day
It is the height of nonsense
And risibility
Grotesque in every detail
And a nonconformity

For councillors to snigger
Or take a bung or two
Whatelse could be the motive
To do what these towns do
Shielding and protecting
Derision and mimicry
Some utopian priviledge
Done suspiciously

Broome should have some real face
With this old enemy
Show some bulldog courage
Endurance I want to see
Really be intrepid
Dauntless and self assurred
At the moment they are skulking
And its the price we cant afford

And it is clearly withering
Down by the toilet door
An unconcern and a lack of zeal
Like nothing seen before
In all of Australian History
To be so unconcerned
To really take no interested
To the point we all feel spurned

If Broome stood up and was counted
Taiji would feel it quick
The cetaceans would get a filip
We know the arithmatic
Their arrogance and ignorance
Are cancers to their soul
Their diplomatic rancour
Ofcourse was to control

Clearly there is no love around
And no understanding too
But they are building up a hatred
Of each other which is true
A real antagonism and
Anger to be sure
Harking back to the
Cold dark days
When they were at war

When Japan bombed Broome harbour
And a number lost their life
And still feel thst resentment
That sulleness and strife.
It was basically such malevolence
True evil intent
The very worst intentions
A malignancy they had soent

But despite the lack of true concern
And the inhumanity
Broome’s hand is still in taiji pants
And looks out ghoulishly
Gloating ever hostile
And disobligingly
Unmoved by all these dolphin deaths
Under the tarps who be

Pithed and watch their precious blood
Spill into the blue
And nobody prepared to denounce
Them one and true
