A shale tale

Greg Clark the man from Tunbridge Wells
I bet none of them frack
And will he soon be signing off
If he does expect some flack
Not forgetting Andy Samuel
Who knows a thing or two
About the devastation of the bush
And the kangaroo

They promise us the world
And they deliver hell on earth
Its all about their bottom line
That is what they are worth
As to our environment
And the water that we drink
And the air we breathe
And where our children play
We better think

Do we want indstrialization
Acidification and more
Water is at a premium
It really makes me sore
To think in other countries
Where water is hard to find
That the present tory party
Have actually lost their mind

There are so few politicians
Anywhere today
Who stop to think of their voters
They seem to look away
Over to the corporates
Who might grease their dirty palms
In stead of seeing the voters
Who are clearly up in arms

Fracking is dirty energy
Pollution down below
Water being wasted
it makes no sense you know
Environments are suffering
Protectors now on board
Ready to give their all to fight
For a just reward

We must all take an interest
Fight for what we know
the future for our children
Most of them do grow
And expect a better future
Not what is happening here
Destruction of communities
And our land which is now clear
