Kangaroo

Bush angels were designed
Centuries ago
And the indigenous have respected them
And watched them as they grow
Clearly a living model
A matrix in a way
Designed to work the outback
An exemplar so to say

Their inventiveness is crucial
Their freshness something new
They will not be emulated
Whatever humans do
Unique in every detail
Nocturnal thats their stance
A 300 degree vision
So nothings left to chance

Ears that swivel right around
So as to source the actual sound
Moving objects they can see
But struggle a bit with uncertainty
If whatever they look at
Just sits still
Then they apparently
Haven’t the skill

A tiny baby is called a pink
The size of a peanut
So do not blink
It has to itself get inside the pouch
And no doubt its mothers first words
Are “ouch”

Completely vegan thats their treat
They regurgitate thats how they eat
Mastication chew and chew
But do not fart like moo cows do
They hop at 15 miles per hour
But if they are chased they can pull in power
To 40 miles per hour, that fast
On two strong legs its quite a blast

Their toenails are like scimitars
Razor sharp you’d should see the scars
A lot of them are called a mob
And they swim well which is a good job
Live short lives on average 4
sometimes six but never more
The Western Grey can generate
A frightful pong that leave a state
They call them stinkers and rightly so
They certainly know about B O.

They are an iconic base design
An integral part of the divine
Macrobiotic in every way
And dont wipe their arses so they say
Australia should really try
To protect them asking themselves why
They allow the demons the licensed ones
To act as if they were all our sons
