A million young joeys
Are murdered each year
Violence and frenzy the fury the fear
Vandals assassins neanderthals, they
Purport to be hunters caught up in the sway
The vehement barbarous bad-ass brigade
Eruptive inflammatory rampant tirade
Such vengeance on the frail and the weak
On the powerless and toothless
And docile and meek
Having shot their poor mother
For leather and meat
So that Iceland and Lidl
Can try to compete
Destined for the poorer to fill their guts full
Australia sickens me
It has no pull
For me anymore its a cruel dreadful place
They aim for the head and ofcourse
Hit the face
Jaws blown a’sunder
Eyes torn away
Horrible injuries
They make them pay
It begs the question
Why humans feel
Such iconic creatures
Afterall they are real
Nature worked hard to design
Such a beast
And we without shame
Now so freely feast
Truthfully murdering kangaroo’s brings
You down to a hell
And bloody well flings
Love and sweet thoughts
Out the window for we
Hark back to a time
Where no one wants to be
Entrenched in revulsion
Covered in grime
Bloodshed and butchery
A shambles in time
Wandering killers
Stalking their prey
Depriving the joeys
of life in every way
Hasten their end
Behead them and crush
Poleaxe and massacre
In that great rush
Of blood from the head
Of Australians who
Think nothing of killing
And possibly you
Are next on their list
For thats how it starts
Firebrands who cannily
Give up their hearts
