The Samaritan

I just swept the porch and it was then
That I found
A little ant had almost drowned
Struggling in a broken glass
Left on my wall by some silly Arse
Who really didnt realise
That a wayward ant got a surprise
And probably became inebriated
That is what I think
I picked him up and dried him off
He looked up at me and I heard him cough
And splutter as he crawled away
Thankful i swept my porch today
