A small Yorshire pig farm we visited

Through open doors we wandered
Out of the cold night air
Into what was just bedlam
We had to fight for air
Penetrating roughness
Soaked into our lungs
The malodorous stench of filth
So strong
Reeking Which tasted on our tongues

In such a place made us wretch and heave
Really you would never believe

That in here are female pigs
And they are in farrowing crates
Yes every day
Left here among the maggots and fliesAnd

And their own warm shit
Yes you guys

This your belly and legs of pork
This your bacon on your fork
Riddled wirh germs and sweaty and wrong
These poor females sing no song
They can hardly breathe now nor can we
We Watch them lying their they can see
Us With our torch lights pleading eyes
Scarred and beaten and chafed the lies
The advertusers sell to you
Prime cuts of english pork
The few we see here in a pitiful state
Crying inwardly this their fate
Labelled up as culling souls
The slaughterhouse manned by more trolls

CLearly trolls run this dark plAce
It is entirely a disgrace
These animals are to be eaten by YOU
They are suffering pain each one is true
Females lying in their own mess
Pigs are not dirty let me stress
We make them dirty for we are shit
And, we do not care a bit
Sit on our sofas watching TV
And off to the market some bacon to see
We dont care where it came from we
Will cook and eat it happily

I have been vegan 48 years
Thats a lot of pigs saved
And their tears I can hear
At night when I
Lay my head and watch the sky
The rancid air the tainted breath
The sulphurus messages of
coming death
It is offensive to loiter here
Longer than you would want its clear
We threw our clothes and shoes away
When we left thet hell on that fateful day

In our hearts and minds were these females who
Would soon be flesh and blood in you
