SEA WORLD

The incoordination
And the disharmony
Created from the kidnapping
Of creatures from their sea

the randomness and turbulence.
The inferno they all feel
Torn out of their existence
Inverted to reveal

A whirlwind of emotions
A rumpus of desire
A total agitation
For the human is a liar

They lie to save their fallen grace
And aimlessly proclaim
That they are spreading knowledge
It’s all part of their game

The innocent are victims
We run slipshod through their life
Take away their freedoms
And in place provide such strife

We tamper with their being
We overturn their soul
We interrupt their leaning
So as to control

We unsettle them completely
their family base capsize
We go after their truest dreams
And always realise

We employ a lot of trainers
That’s their Title but of course
The tricks and just the way of life
That much we have to force

And we do all that with people
Who are ignorant to our thought
Who imagine they can get to grips
With their own field of sport

A lack of understanding
Permeates us all
Who really thinks they know cetaceans
Almost any fool

Can leap into the tanks with them
Persuasively so to do
To train them to be robotic
All apparently for you

Wild oceans have real distance
And depths beyond our mind
A living soup of myriad beings
Which they must leave behind
L
When being set for capture
Regarded in such a way
Stolen from the environment
That share along the way

Their stamping ground their Mecca
Their honey pot of hope
Togetherness with family
Which brought them eternal hope

Till SEAWORLD and its catchers
Came by or bought and they
Were then transferred from ocean blue
To concrete tanks away

From oceans true environment
Into a falsity
An artificial latrine
Where they now would be

No real size to speak of
And a depth so very sparse
A chlorinated cesspool
Where they could shake their arse

Their pods left by the way side
Their linguistic talents gone
Living with races apart
With nothing left to don

To clear their way ahead
The knowledge base was gone
It was now down to the trainers
All Focusing upon

The mindset of the SEAWORD board
And others notably
As arrogant as the day is long
Not part of any sea

And so the show was grand and we
Heard music blaring constantly
The victims Drugged up to the eyes
Would counter that with a surprise
K
Or two would injure and might kill
It’s all part of the SEAWORLD thrill
The temperament of kidnapped souls
Who lost their family and took on roles

Of circus freaks the victim cries
Raked overnight familiarise
yourselves
With city folk who go
Into a jungle and who know

The dangers there but still they be
Available for all to see
Of course they fight resentment is high
These are emotional souls who lie

In waters charged
with chemical stew
And their own poop which all have to

Swim in, there is no other way
Around and around and around all day
No depth in Which to hide a while
The sun will bake you and defile

No life force there’s no living food
No plants just nothing to be viewed
A set sterile vacuum lacking life
Creating hours of torrid strife

Often after a dark affray
Strips of flesh are torn away
The rake marks evident to see
painted out accordingly

the strips of skin resembling rubber
Connective tissue perhaps blubber
Taken home by trainers they
As a keepsake so to say

It sickens me to even write
Such horror it just does incite
In me a vileness of this world
In which the innocent were hurled

The multitude of victims who
Were stolen from the precious blue
Oceanside transported where
SEAWORLD Zombies then can share

Their freedom and their profit base
Can pay huge salaries and can face
The ocean and create a theme
A circus where horror becomes their dream

Where repetitiveness
becomes the norm
And where the dumbed down hordes can swarm

Turnstiles ringing shamu toys
Shipped from China who employs
Armies of low paid women and they
Turn them out day after day

They push the margins through the roof
Proving really how aloof
Myou have to be these days
To run
A corporate ship out in the sun

Victims really everywhere
Cetaceans trainers all aware
Of cruelty and lies and pain
Where a rich Board can truly gain

Momentum caring little for
The environment waging a war
Against the creatures of the sea
Who suffer in captivity

We have seen the film
we have read the script
We have seen their eyes and some tight lipped
We know of deaths and suffering too
And Sea World’s crimes both good and true
G
It’s out there in the wide domain
How great ORca’s go insane
How mindfulness is lost for sure
In the corporate game of war

It’s Unfathomable and its endless pain
And it’s all for monetary gain
The immortal spirit comes and goes
In an endless cry nobody knows

Animal rights protestors though
Feel the agony that’s on show
If affects their lives causing them ill
Attributed to the way some spill

The freedoms and life force
Lof the Victims who be
Actually angels from out of the sea

As to the corporate in pursuit
Of profit for profits sake at their root
Is ostentatious for nothing real
They are wildly wasteful With so much zeal

Imaginable to interface with corruption and power
They control their space
Every decision they ever make
Is really consuming the whole of the cake

Innocence suffers all of the time
Which is the purpose for this rhyme
